Michael J. Szot is the Founder and Managing Partner of MJS Advisory Services, a fractional advisory firm built to give technology providers on-demand access to senior-level business development expertise—without the cost or commitment of a full-time executive hire. Michael personally leads every fractional engagement, connecting innovative IT product and services providers with senior executives and decision-makers across the Life Sciences, Healthcare, and Regulated industry segments. With over three decades of experience in healthcare consulting and technology services, he brings a relationship-driven, outcomes-focused approach that scales up or down as each client’s priorities evolve.

MJS Advisory Services was established to meet a critical market need: giving technology firms fractional access to the senior-level relationships and industry expertise required to navigate complex, regulated markets—without adding permanent headcount. As a fractional extension of his clients’ teams, Michael collaborates closely with IT product companies, managed services providers, and technology-enabled services firms to refine their positioning, align solutions with industry priorities, and facilitate executive-level introductions that foster strategic partnerships and sustainable market expansion.

Michael’s fractional engagements draw directly on senior leadership roles held at globally recognized consulting and technology organizations. He has spearheaded business development and strategic account initiatives for global management consulting firms, supporting top pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare organizations in overcoming challenges related to digital transformation, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, commercialization and sustainability. Earlier, as Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of CGS Technology Associates, Michael helped build a nationally respected technology consulting and systems integration firm serving Fortune-level clients across regulated industries—experience that lets him deliver immediate impact from day one of every fractional engagement, with no onboarding or ramp-up required.

Michael’s approach is rooted in deep industry knowledge, executive credibility, and a comprehensive network of C-suite and senior-level relationships built over decades of collaboration—an established network clients can tap on a fractional basis rather than spending years building internally.
